Magicband + bluetooth pairing question

SO it is time for my stupid question of the day. I am not the most tech savvy person in the world.
I have an iphone and my son and husband have androids.
The tickets are under my account.
It appears that I have linked the account to the magicbands (If I see our tickets etc on the app then I am assuming that all goes onto the magicband?
It is asking to pair with bluetooth to my phone, I did that with my magicband but I should I do it with my husband and sons?
Should they pair it with bluetooth to their own phones?
I know this is probably a stupid question but oh well.

I'm not sure if I am understanding your question. Do they have the app and their tickets on their phones? If so, you can pair their band to their app/account. If they don't, you can set it up so that their tickets are on their phones. Have them download the app and follow the directions to create an account and put their ticket into that account.

You don’t need to pair their magic bands to their unless they will be making their own LL choices. I am assuming you will be doing so for your party so it only has to be paired to your phone. They will simply tap their band when at a LL entrance.

We don’t have lightning lane but do have a DAS? So do I just paid all three magic bands to my phone? It keeps saying I need to pair them
I would, yes. You simply need to turn them on and have your phone nearby. The app will walk you through it. Don’t worry about pairing it to your hubby and sons phone, one is enough.

At Disneyland the Magicbands are connected to a ticket, not a Disney account, so as long as you match each band to the proper ticket and are making all the DAS/LL arrangements through your account, it's fine to pair them all with your phone.

The only reasons I can think of off the top of my head why someone might want to pair their Magicband+ with their own device would be if they want to separate from your group at some point and book LLs individually for themselves (and already have the Disneyland app with their ticket loaded into it), or if they want to use the Magicband+ for the Batuu Bounty Hunters game and run the Datapad feature from the Play Disney Parks app on their own device.

If you want to change the light colors or patterns, you have to pair it to get into the settings. Otherwise all you will get are the default options.

I'm having trouble pairing our magicband+s to my device. It's linked to my account and assigned to appropriate tickets, but no matter what I do, the pairing will not go through (tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, turning my device and Bluetooth on and off). I even tried chatting with a CM, but she wasn't able to help much, besides assuring my tickets were linked to each band as I intended.

I don't think we will be playing the bounty hunter game, and I don't really care about changing the default colors/options. I was really just looking for a way to use my phone less with LLs (and maybe a photopass pic or two with photographers). We should be good, right?

Yeah, you will be fine. Some phones are finicky about this. I think there is a little hole in the band that you can press with a ballpoint pen to reset it. I think that's what they do in the park if you are having trouble pairing it. Not 100% sure on that but thought I saw that in a vlog. I don't yet have a MB+, but we will be getting them soon for our upcoming trip to WDW this summer and will start using them at Disneyland beforehand.
