Mike loaded up the van while I got the girls up, dressed and fed. We checked out and decided we would wait until that night to check into the All Star Sports.
We decided to spend the day at MGM today. We headed over to Playhouse Disney first. They are so nice to put the girls wheelchairs up front over to the side so that they can see. They both love the show so much! Marlee Anne loves to stand up and dance.
Next we got in line to tour the Haunted Mansion movie set. It was awesome! I don't do scary well so I was a little concerned. I thought it couldn't be to bad if they were letting all those kids in. It was not scary at all and really neat to see the set.
We have never had the girls pictures made with Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy. We walked over to The Muppet 3D Show to find out where they would be if they were out. The CM told us they would be around the building but she didn't know if they would be out today or not. She told us who to go ask. We walked over to where Buzz and Woody were to ask that CM. She said that they would not be out today except for in the parade. We will have to try again later to get pictures with them.
I had not eaten anything as usual that morning but for some reason my sugar dropped and I was feeling really bad. The girls and I sat down while Mike went over to get me some popcorn and a Sprite. We sat and ate popcorn and enjoyed people watching. Just as we got up to walk off the characters were coming back in from pictures and autographs. Pinocchio saw the girls and walked over to see them. The girls just smiled. Snow White stopped to give each of them kisses. Even Cruella Deville stopped to speak to them. We were about to walk off and Jasmine and Aladdin came over. They both remembered the girls. Our mutual friend emailed Jasmine a picture of she and the girls that was taken on our last trip. She thanked the girls for the beautiful picture. She and Aladdin both squatted down in front of the girls to spend some time with them. They said they would be watching for them during the parade.
Mike wanted to go back to the Sci-Fi diner to eat. We had made reservations earlier that morning so we got right in. The girls really enjoy it there.
It was about time for the parade so we went up to the handicapped section to make sure we got a spot. We had a perfect spot. I really like that parade. When Jasmine and Aladdin came by Jasmine told the CM that announces the parade that those were his special friends. The girls recognized them and got all excited. I was excited too. So excited that my pictures turned out a little blurry.
There was not a very long line for Sorcerer Mickey so we went and got the girls pictures made with him. We weren't sure how Marlee Anne would do but she walked right up to him and gave him her autograph book.
I feel like more things happened between lunch and now because all of a sudden it's time for supper. We decided to see if we could get into the 50's Primetime Cafe (my favorite at MGM). There was a short wait and we were seated in a room all by ourselves. We had a large table and plenty of room for the girls wheelchairs. I love that the girls are able to get such a good meal here. The food is wonderful. Can't miss the Smores for dessert.
We did some shopping on the way out. It was the perfect time to walk through those shops we have always wanted to see but never have the chance.
We went straight to All Star Movies to check in. No problems! Very easy! We got settled in and started our nightly routine.
