Cast DD age 9 Thrill ride lover
Ds age 12 Thrill ride avoider
DS age 15 won't admit how much he loves WDW
DH age 42 along for the ride
Dw age 41- Me! Lover of all things Disney
Day 3 it's off to MGM , one of my favorite parks (okay they're all my favorite parks). Walked right on RNR at opening (DS wouldn't ride so he went to do Great Movie ride w/DH) . I love this ride!!!! My only complaint is that it's too short! After RNR walked right on ToT-no lines here-CM were trying to wave people in. Okay , I love this ride too. Did some shopping- DD and I got leopard print mouse ears-these are perfect for my personality. Went to the Sorcerer's hat. This was just being built when we here last year, so it was nice to see it finished. Got a few pins, including the special internet pin-thanks to Bashful64 for mailing me the certificate for this!. Saw a lot of characters we hadn't seen before: Belle, Kida, Milo, Herc, Cruella, Mary Poppins, and Mike and Sully from Monster's Inc. (you can't get autographs from these 2-but you can get a picture with them!). Met up with Dh and Ds and after having my picture taken w'my hands in Kathie Lee Gifford's handprints outside the Great Movie Ride (family joke) we walked right on this ride. We had PS for 50's Primetime for 1:00, and were seated fairly quickly. This was a great lunch! DD and DS 12 each had kids cheeseburger, Ds15 had BBQ chicken salad, and DH and I split the steak sandwich (he also had a salad). Our server Mark was so funny, and the other servers interacted with us as well. We ordered lunch -one S'more, one Dad's sundae, and one butterscotch sundae-yummm!! Mark thoght the desserts took too long to arrive (we didn't notice we were having so much fun) so we weren't charged for the desserts! This is our must do restaurant! Did Muppets, and then the heat started to get to everyone, so we went back to hotel to swim and relax for a few hours. Walked over to MK around 5-I love that we can walk from our hotel. Very few lines-mainly for the rides for younger kids. Did all our favorites at least twice, and lost track of how many times we did Buzz. At 9:00 we grabbed hotdogs at Casey's Corner and found great seats to watch Spectromagic. We waited till after the kiss goodnight (always makes me smile) to head down mainstreet to pick up breakfast at the Mainstreet Bakery-there are way too many good things to eat here! It was very tempting to eat our breakfast as soon as we got back to our room-luckily everyone was too tired! Tomorrow AK........!!
