Hey everyone! My fiancee and I booked a different cruise while we were sailing earlier this year (on the cruise on which I proposed to her ). When we heard about this, we switched as soon as we could! It'll be awesome sailing the southern Caribbean on an itenerary we haven't done before. Though, I think what excites us more is sailing on Magic after its upcoming refurbishment!

I am booked this cruise on opening day. Was not sure if September was going to work, but I realized I get 4 weeks vacation next year, so it should not be a problem.

We sailed on the Fantasy to Puerto Rico in March, and looking forward to spending a little longer there, it is a beautiful port.

The cruise we're doing in a couple of weeks shifted to Facebook and yes, less got discussed on the Disboard thread but the group is bonding more and the conversations are more real time. Plus it's much easier to share p

It's quiet because everyone is over on FACEBOOK instead of here. This is the discussion thread for the cruise, not FACEBOOK. I joined this thread to discuss the cruise, not to find a link to join FACEBOOK.

Would sure be nice if people were talking here. With everyone over on FACEBOOK, it's hard to get to know people here.

We're not busy planning much for this cruise yet. Busy getting ready for our upcoming cruise and trip to WDW. Does anyone else have Disney plans for this summer?

It's only easier because that is where everyone is. And posters don't want to put in the effort to be on the Dis anymore - they just want facebook. Why come to the DIS in the first place? The Dis is very easy and has worked well in the past for a number of other cruises we've been on.

FACEBOOK has too many privacy issues. The Dis can be as real time as you want to make it.

We are busy wrapping up plans for our cruise. We leave in less than two weeks. No other summer Disney plans. We'll be at WDW for food and wine this fall. How about you?

I agree! There was a very active facebook group for the WBPC this year, but I felt the group as a whole on the ship was much less "bonded" than previous cruises where there was a "disboards" group. The facebookers aren't all "dis-ers" and I feel the loss of "group identity".

We are two "older than dirt" adults (Bruce & Linda), upstate New York transplanted to Northwest Georgia. No kids traveling with us, but we may have our Teddy Bears. I don't think we'll be doing FE due to weight constraints flying to Europe for the WBTA and home from San Juan.
