:cheer2:HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!:cheer2:

Yes, Richard (BabyDiver) who has been diving for 40 years is the diver doing the Back 2 Back Western Bound Transatlantic. He has now started to study dives sites on the various island we are calling into..

He is hoping for some good ideas from Disney and hopes that they don't pull out of the diving excursions as they did on the Western bound in 2011. He had booked to dive on two islands and Disney pulled out of Tortola at the last minute. Luckily someone else on the Disboard was a seasoned diver who had done diving in Tortola before and they organised a private dive which he joined.

Looking forward to seeing what choices Disney is going to give us for shore excursions as I like to keep busy on land while he is under the sea!

We are also booked on this Southern Cruise. We are traveling in January on the Fantasy (first time) so we have been focused there. Fantasy Fish extenders are just now done when it occurred to me that we have another DCL trip this year.

We will get back to planning for this one after that cruise, but we love the classic ships, especially the Magic. We took the 2nd inaugural cruise on the Magic. This will be our 9th DCL Cruise.

Two cabins:
DH and myself
MIL and Daughter (22)

Which Western January cruise are you taking? We are on the 1/18 Western!

Looking forward to meeting you this coming week.:woohoo:

That's so funny! My FE list is already packed and I felt lazy. ;) But we are almost on a cruise!!!:banana::banana:

Hooray!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: I just booked my roundtrip flight and hotel for one night. Booking through Orbitz I was able to get one night only at the Sheraton Old San Juan Hotel. Super excited to have been able to get this hotel so close to the pier and for just one night. If I don't have a pier side view I will be up on by the rooftop pool taking pics of the Magic at dock. Can't wait.:cool1::cool1:

Hi everyone,

I have already posted on Facebook but wanted to introduce myself here too: DH Chris and I will be on this cruise too! We are on the Transatlantic right before this cruise and were originally going to fly home afterwards, but now we have found that we will be able to stay on board for this cruise. Looking forward to meeting you all!

Annika

Lucky, Lucky people doing a b2b 3 weeks onboard. I am so envious!

We have been on board for 14 days once, and once for 13 (that was also a b2b), but this will be the longest by far. Vacation of a lifetime! It's partly because we live so far away from DCL's homeportsand therefore it always turns into a big trip anyway, so we make the most of it - and this time we are so lucky to get that much time off work.

You are going to love it.. I did the Eastbound in 2010 and it was the trip of a life time. If I had the money I would do it all over again. I've enjoyed cruising with DCL for the past 5 years since my retirement, 11 cruises. For the EBTA I sent a box of books ahead so that I didn't have to pack the extra weight. What a waste that was! There was much too much to do even with 8 days at sea. Of course if you had told me that I would be traveling across the Atlantic at 25 miles per hour I would have said "No way". But I loved it. Don't forget to get some passes for the Rainforest room. The heated loungers are fantastic! Enjoy your trips.:thumbsup2

:welcome: Annika and Chris to the Southern Caribbean Disboard.

It was great to see you on this post and that you are also going to be doing the B2B the same as us.

This will be our 2nd WBTA as we did the 2011 and really enjoyed it.

I am Sue Powell on Facebook and of course, Richard is Baby Diver on the DIS and we have had a few conversations with you on Facebook before. Are you going to fly home on the 27th to Frankfurt with Condor the same as us?

Glad to see there are more people doing the B2B and will we see you at the Hard Rock Cafe meet in Barcelona the night before the Magic leaves????

Thank you for the tip - I've never been to the Rainforest Room before but always wanted to try it, and with all these sea days this is definitely the right time for it!

Hello

The name of the FB page for this cruise is

Disney Magic Sept 20-27 2014

And no excursions have been posted on the DCL site yet and probably won't be until nearer or on the paid in full date.

But....if you go to this page and then scroll down to the 7 night cruise and click on each port of call you will find details and prices of previous excursions

Hope this is of some help to you.

Hi,
We are excited to join in on this cruise. We booked while onboard our B2B cruises out of Galveston over the New Year. We're looking forward to getting back on the Magic. This will be cruise 14 for us!.

This time it will be just my husband and I (Ralph and Lori). We usually cruise with our two girls but they are both in college. This cruise will be to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! We are from just north of Boston. Count us in for the FE too.

I'll be looking for the FB group too. Can't wait to meet everyone. Jilljill, did we cruise together before?

I too have not been able to find the FB page even with the name posted. If a link could be posted would really appreciate it. Also what is the name of the terminal that the ship will leave from? I have the names of the two hotels that DCL is offering for the pre/post stays: Caribe Hilton San Juan and the San Juan Marriott & Stellaris Casino. What I am still trying to find out is the shuttle to and from the resorts to the port and on the last day of the cruise (Sept 27 will DCL have transfers from the port to the airport?

thanks
