Magical Service and Amtrak

We are thinking of traveling by train does Disney Magical Service include the train station?

I assume you mean Magical Express. No I'm afraid Magical Express is only available at Orlando International Airport. Have you considered the Auto Train? It goes from Lorton, VA (Washington, DC area) to Sanford, FL (near Orlando).

Disney's Magical Express does not pick up at Orlando's Train Station. I once took Amtrak down from Boston to Orlando using AGR points and hopped in a cab to take me to Orlando International Airport. From the airport, I hoped on the Magical Express to my resort. IIRC The cab fare was around $35 and that was in 2009.

What I wish I'd done is purchased Amtrak tickets to the Kissimmee train station (the next stop after Orlando) and spent the same $35 to take a cab directly to my resort hotel. It's faster.

Nope. Disney used to have other transportation available ahead of time but they discontinued that service. My relatives who love the train now take a cab from the station.

A little more $$ but we had a towncar pick us up at the Kissimee station and drive us to our resort, after a grocery stop.
