Magical Secrets??

I've also heard there is a wedding ring/diamond ring of the ghost bride embedded in the cement at the exit of the Haunted Mansion....but have never seen it. Also, at the entrance of the Haunted Mansion there is a gravestone with eyes on it that "follow" you.

Not something to necessarily seek out, but we had a magical experience 2 weeks ago.

Against my better judgment, DH and DD 5 decided to go on the Snow White ride while I waited with DD 1.5. I had heard it was scary for little ones, and it sure was! DD came out of the ride bawling. She was terrified by the wicked queen popping out! :scared1: A CM happened to pass us by just then. He asked why she was so sad and we told him that the ride had been a little too much for her. He reached into his pocket and pulled out some Mickey confetti which he told her was pixie dust. He told her to take some, hold it by her heart, close her eyes, and make a wish. While she did this, he somehow made some sort of tinkling sound, which she totally believed with Tinker Bell. It was such a sweet gesture, and it completely took her mind off her fear.

Later that day, she tried to make another wish with her pixie dust, but was disappointed when she didn't hear Tink. She decided that Tink must be busy granting someone else's wish. ;)

Thanks JrsyBoy (are you a Jersey Boy?? I grew up in NJ...)-- I have this flagged for ref when we go in May

Awwww Mama! That is so sweet! :goodvibes THAT is the kind of Magic that I'm hoping for when we go!

From QwestDex and confirmed on MapQuest and Google Maps:
Disney's Days of Christmas
1780 Lake Buena Vista Dr
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
(407) 828-3759

I called and left a voicemail and got a call back within 24 hours. I just told the person that I was looking for Name Badges that I could have delivered to our resort. She took down the names and CC information, where we were staying and when we were arriving and gave me a confirmation number. When we arrived at POFQ, we went to the gift shop and gave the number to the clerk and there were the badges.

Thanks, I've already saved that info in my tips word file!!! Am I sad or just have OCDPD? :rotfl2: (that's obsessive, compulsive Disney Planning Disorder it should be a recognized complaint. :rotfl2: )

Born & raised, lured to Colorado by a woman. Got my "Jersey Boy...What's Your Problem?" and "New Jersey - Attitude Capital of the World" t-shirts packed for our trip next week. Leaving the "Weird NJ" shirt behind, though.

:lmao: OCDPD! :rotfl:

I'm going to reference this in my next conversation with DH. He already thinks I have something wrong for planning this far ahead (our trip is in October). I told him that I didn't think I had that much time!

Does anyone have ideas for "Tink Gifts" (I think that's what someone called it)-- love my kids, but at 5, 3, and 3, not sure that I want to spend a small fortune on those gift baskets, etc...
thanks!

Some ideas....
Pins!(hook em early! LOL)Buy some on ebay in lots and split it up between the kids one per day.
An autograph book
A mickey/princess/fav character pen
A journal to keep their fav memories in
A disposable camera
Disney dollars

Here are some more ideas for Tinkerbell gifts ... I smuggle them in my luggage and provide the delivery service for Tink. You could also ship them to yourself at the resort. Last time I made my own gift baskets and snuck them in the luggage. Hit the Disney Store (super sales), Target, Walmart, Dollar Store... you can actually get a pretty good assortment of practical fun stuff that will become so much more magical because of how and where it was received :)

1. goggles
2. t-shirt/sweatshirt/socks/swimsuit
3. towel
4. stuffed animal/doll/disney character toys/star wars toys
5. sticker book/story book
6. die cast cars (ie: Cars cars)
7. potato or my little pony (buy the parts on your trip)
8. light up toys

I could go on and on...but I'm sure you will get inspired!
