Good afternoon!
We JUST booked our trip with all of you on the Magic.
MY DH did a tally of his remaining vacation days for the year, found 9 left after adjusting for XMAS etc so since it's a use 'em or lose 'em, here we go.
We booked as an OGT so don't see a stateroom assigned yet- we've had good luck in the past with our random assignments so hoping the pixie dust keeps coming.
We are a family of four- Mom Stacey, Dad Paul, DD Brooke (6), and DD Zoe (who will turn 4 10/5!!) As chance would have it, we had been in WDW for the wine and dine 1/2 on my birthday in november, happened to be skiing on DH's bday in March, on a Norwegian Nickelodeon cruise on Brooke's birthday in April. So as we started looking into the fall, Zoe innocently asked "where we going for my birthday?". I was shocked when pricing things out that doing this trip cost us about the same as a week in orlando. DH is much more enthusiastic about this adventure than returning to WDW( because the ship and the itinerary are both something new). We spent a week on the fantasy in Jan 2013 which has been a benchmark for everything since.

What else? We did the FE on the Fantasy cruise, the girls were dismayed that there wasn't something similar happening on the Gem in April. So we are definitely in for the latecomer FE if that's still a possibility- We'll have to get cracking... I wonder where I saved our old FE hanger?not much time to make a new one.

Looking forward to researching the excursions and onboard activities, etc. Haven't read through the entire thread yet but I wanted to get on a list before it was too late (assuming it isn't already).

I see peanuts & gluten listed as allergies for Stacey and Angel. Does that mean Hershey's kisses or M&Ms are off limits? I'm new to DCL and FE but am doing my best to catch up and bring some good stuff!

I wouldn't be surprised to find some Palo brunch availability open up very soon. They should be assigning the group room soon and if there was a bunch of private individual bookings to combine into the group room, logic says that the main room will have open tables.
