Magical Oct 4, 2014 Southern Caribbean

Welcome Aboard ! :yay: It's never to early to plan. I am already thinking about the FE gifts. :rolleyes1

After being on hold for 45 mins. I just wanted to get this cruise booked before prices started to go up. It was an impulse just to say gty. :rotfl2:

I have to say that even though I had to use telepathy with Robin and know that is what I was supposed to book...it was nice being onboard the Magic when all this went down so I had my own personal Disney agent getting up at 7am to book for me!!!!:cool1:

Oh I think Robin knows what gty is. But since you put prefer and that's what I typed it was confusing....lol. I was a bit confused but figured I Would ask later.....haha. my sil had traveled gty before and got an upgrade, she is on our Dec cruise and took the same risk. No risk I guess as she is on the boat. Lol. Probably not a good risk of someone who needs aft over forward for sea sick reasons or whatever.

We have been GTY several times, cruised 13 times with DCL and have never, never been upgraded. If you have specific needs or preferences you need to book what will work for you, not count on a upgrade. Pixie dust happens, but gty does not guarantee it will.

I guess if people need something specific but our families don't. Robin and I picked our rooms, Ok I PICKED THEM, she just has to say ok ..:rotfl2: My SIL will be happy wherever she is.

I updated the webpage!!!! On there I have a Mickey's mate's section. Here I put any photos sent to me so not only do we get to know each other on here but able to recognize each other onboard. Feel free to send me your photos via pm or just post them on here and I will copy into webpage.
Also added a ticker , and other pages ready for info as anyone finds it. Like the info on the excursion. Once that is known completely I can put that info on the excursion page!!!

I heard back from the tour company in St. Lucia. I am impressed with his quick response. Here is what he said...........

Hi

Yes i will be available. The tour fee is US $65 per person. Groups per van is 10 - 12 persons. Buses are 22 - 28 people. You can book right now.

We will be leaving at 8:30am, we meet at 8:20am. As soon as you come off the ship you walk into the building right in front of you, where I will be standing with a sign "COSOL TOURS".

The tour is 5 to 6 hours. You only pay in cash at the end of the tour. We will be stopping every 10 mins for your "wow" photo moments. Entrance fees to the waterfall, volcano and water taxi is included in the price.

We will be visiting the banana plantation where you will learn about its growth and taste them, fishing villages (Anse La-Raye and Canaries), also Marigot Bay where the movie Dr. Doolittle was filmed.

Then we will be stopping for breakfast where you can sample the local fish cakes, johnny cakes, coconut cakes, and different local fruits from the Island. We will be having a mobile bar with rum punch, local beer, water, soda. All eats and drinks are free.

Then we head down to Soufriere where you will have an overlook of the pitons. Then to the only drive-in Volcano in the world where you will be getting an informative guide to show you around, there you can also do the mud bath and feel relaxed and rejuvenated.

From the volcano we will be going to the Toraille Waterfall for swimming.

Then to the Jalousie Beach between the pitons for swimming and snorkeling, where we will be taking the water taxi where you will enjoy unbelievable views of the coast. Please bring along your snorkeling gears, It is also available for rental.

After the beach we will be stopping for a drink and sample the local spice rum.
On the way back to the north we will be stopping for the best local hot bread and cheese. Our last stop will be 5 mins drive from Castries where you can do all your shopping for local souvenirs to take back home.

Bring along your camera and towels. Because of the small changing room at the beach you can wear you swimsuit under you garment to save time. If you have any more queries call me on my cell ******* or visit my website at cosol-tours.com.
Thanking you in advance as I await your confirmation reply.
Cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to tour.

Very pretty picture Susan:) What were you guys drinking? It kind of looks like egg nog.

Ooops...sorry that pictures is so big...not that big on my ipad. I'll try to adjust it. The drink is "Tusk at Dusk". We had it on the Magic, but they had to search out the recipe for us on the Dream. It has Amarula Cream, rum, Grand Marnier
Coffee and chocolate.
Ha. Ha.....I sound like a big drinker!:lmao:

Based on looking at the decorations , I may need to add another dressy night for my Xmas Cruise in Dec instead of only 2 of them. ROOOOOOBBBBIIIIIIINNNNNNN....we need another theme for Dec for color palate for a dressy nt!!! lol

Sounds like a good tour. I'm wondering how late (near to cruise) we could join? I'd like to see what DCL offers and I don't find any SC port adventures yet.

That looks and sounds yummy!!

Angie I looked at RCCL excursions to start a wish list of what I would like to do on each island, will match as close as I can with what DCL offers.

I bet we were looking at RCCL at the same time. :rotfl: Even this far out I am so excited for this tour ! Yeah we have the first van filled ! So happy you will be joining us. :goodvibes

Thanks to the person who set up the google webpage. :thumbsup2 Our family would love to participate in the FE. I haven't had the chance to read through our meet thread because our family is in the process of moving to another city, so I'm swamped. We close escrow on our home in March, so I'll only be able to check in occasionally until after we get settled. Look forward to meeting all of you and sailing with you! :yay:
