Magical moments

Inspired by best park day --

What are some memorable magical moments you have had at WDW?
I have so many that I couldn't list them all -- and many revolving around trading pins with CM's!
But meeting fellow pin traders -- Cathy and her crew, JudithM and her DH, Kris (who took the parade pic and I am sure was the reason I was awarded the Scoop pin) and his DW, Kathryn at the pin meets... (Pin people are the best. )
First time on ToT, RnRC, TT, first time in World Showcase, MNSSHP, eating at Chefs de France and walking out and listening to Arlo Guthrie at last years Flower & Garden fest...
So many great memories, and many magical moments happening when you least expect them.
That's what makes WDW so special.

How about when DD (then aged 7) got to be the "Chef of the Day" at The Crystal Palace. She got the first mickey mouse pancake of the day and four of the 100 acre woods characters helped her decorate it!!

Then, about 45 minutes later she gets to ride with Tigger on the WTP ride!!

It was great!!!

My favorite magical moment happened to my DS6 (made me happier than if it had happened to me, lol). It was as we were leaving WDW and doing some last minute shopping at DTD. A CM wearing a "super trader" vest gave my DS6 a continuing the tradition WDW pin with Donald and Mickey on it after my DS had traded a pin with the CM. I had not heard of these pins which made it more special . The CM told DS that it was because he was such a great trader and that he felt we were a special family. My DS was grinning ear to ear as we left the shop and told DH and me that maybe, some day, IF we became as good a trader as him, we MIGHT get one of these pins as well . DS keeps this pin on his corkboard where he pins up his art work.

Thanks for the advice Luv2Roam. I think they would have a hard time getting it from him, though, as it holds the place of highest honor on his corkboard . I like looking at the pin myself, such a happy pin from a happy moment.
