We were at WDW 2/12-2/19 and on Valentine's Day we arrived 10 minutes too late to see Indian Jones...my internal clock was totally off that day! My DS7, Aidan, was disappointed as I explained we missed the show but would make sure we caught the next one.
There were two CMs standing at the entrance during this discussion and one walked up to my sons and asked were they sure they wanted to come back for the next show. They said yes & the CM asked DSs if they wanted to open the next show. Aidan said a resounding YES and DS4 looked horrified and became mute. CM said just Aidan could go up by himself, but he took down both kids' names just in case the younger one changed his mind.
We were instructed to come back 20 minutes before the next show started. We were escorted to seats front & center (totally great seats!!!). The woman playing the director came over & spoke with Aidan & went over his line ("Lights, Camera, Action") and explained what the signal would be for him to get up.
Show started, Aidan got up with no hesitation (this child is usually pretty shy!!), was introduced, audience clapped for him, then he held onto the microphone and loudly & clearly said his line! I was one proud mom!
After the show the director came over & spoke with us again and congratulated Aidan on how well he did & gave us a certificate.
Pretty cool experience!
