For those of you that have used this service, are you satified, or do you wish you'd used a shuttle? We will miss the grocery stop but I did purchase the dining plan. Still, the snacky stuff and drinks were nice.

I was among the first to use DME (May 8 - 14) and loved it. I had no problems and found it to be very quick and convenient. I arranged for a grocery delivery so I didn't miss out by not having a grocery stop (think about it, a grocery stop delays your arrival at WDW!). And my grocery delivery from Gooding's (www.goodings.com) didn't have to be scheduled for when I would be in the room -- they deliver to Bell Services and if you're not in BS stores your groceries for you (and even keeps the cold things cold, too!) and delivers to you only when you're ready for it.

Oh that's great!! That's what I'll do to, have Goodings deliver!! What a good idea! The men have to have their beer!!! And, the kids their snacks and pop. And me, water bottles!!

Well, since I went with a town car service my last two trips, I will never go back to group buses or shuttles!

Magical Express sounds nice, but to me, nothing beats being met in baggage and hopping right into our own car and heading straight to Disney.

I love not waiting for anyone else, I love the grocery stop and I love going to straight to my hotel without any other stops (at other hotels) and having my baggage with me.

It's worth every penny to me and then some.

OOPS! Gooding's doesn't deliver alcohol. Maybe check out wegoshop.com. I haven't used them, I don't know if they can deliver it. But with them I know you have to schedule your delivery and be there for it.

I guess you can always check out in advance if your resort's gift shop sells beer.

I neglected to mention that Gooding's has a $50 minimum order and a flat $10 fee. Wegoshop's fees are higher, I believe.

Thanks! I will check this out before we go. We really did want to do ME so thias solves our problem!! These boards are great!!

Goodings is the most expensive grocery store in Orlando. By a lot. The slightly higher delivery fee from wegoshop will be more than compensated for by lower food costs. Certainly if money isn't an issue and you don't want to be there at the time of delivery Goodings may be a good option for some guests.

For me, the convenience of not needing to schedule the delivery made all the difference in the world. Before I knew about Gooding's, I had planned to use wegoshop, but I was stressing over the decision about delivery time. Our flight arrived a little after 9 a.m. and we were at CBR by 10:30 a.m., just as I'd figured. My original dilemma was, do we schedule our grocery delivery for 3:00 p.m., check-in time, when we were sure we'd have our room? Doing so would make sure our cold stuff (milk, yogurt, deli meats and cheeses) would stay cold and edible, but would nail our feet to the floor, so to speak, and prevent us from going to a park, or the pool, etc. Or do we take a chance that our room is ready early and schedule an early delivery but then face the possibility of food spoilage? Within the realm of vacation planning, it was a very stressful dilemma. The Gooding's system removed that stressor, that difficult decision.

Also, not knowing the prices at other stores in Orlando I was unable to discern that other markets might be cheaper (Gooding's was the only website on which I saw prices). Maybe it didn't seem expensive to me because I live in a resort area that tends to be more expensive than locations back on the mainland.
