Is Magical Express running right now? We are debating whether or not to head to Disney next month for our postponed from June Trip - weighing cost/benefits and so forth and how different I think the landscape may be come June of 2021......we always fly in and use Magical Express and I am wondering if it is still running right now? If not, and we would need to either rent a car or book a differnt transport service may be the tipping factor for us.

Yes. I got our Magical Express ticket in the mail yesterday. We are arriving on the 7th!1:yay:

YES!! We used it for our trip Oct 12-17 - you have to retrieve your own luggage and take it to the Magical Express area. You wait to be assigned to a bus and seats on the bus - we had probably 6 families on our bus.

Pick up was the same - you are assigned seats on the bus and we were staying at BLT and we picked up folks at BLT, Contemporary and WL.

The bus driver will load/unload your luggage from under the bus and we tipped accordingly.

It was great!

It is running, but you must pick up any checked baggage and take it to load on the bus as luggage delivery is NOT running.

Jeanninep4 - We arrive the 7th too!! Got our paper confirmation about 3 days ago!!!

We are using it but only for the return leg (doing USO first) so will we get anything in the mail at all since we'll be putting our own luggage on the bus at the resort and then when we get off at the airport?

You may get a confirmation letter in the mail, but nothing you will need to bring with you or show when you leave. Your resort will still put the letter on your door the day before check-out to confirm your pick-up time the next day, and that is the letter you need to provide to DME driver.

If your party is arriving separately at different times, do we all have to wait to get to DME together, or can the earlier arriving group go ahead and get on DME and head to their hotel and then the remaining group get on DME later?

You do not all have to be together. Don't even have to all arrive on the sand day. As long as each person has a reservation for the day they plan on riding, all is good. If you have two parties that are arriving at different times, you should make two separate DME reservations - one for each party. Although, it's not a requirement. DME will get everyone on a bus regardless.
