How far before departure does the Magical Express package arrive in mail?

From various postings on here, I'd say 3-6 weeks out, averaging around a month.

Note that if you booked the arrangements yourself the package will come directly to you. If, however, you booked through a travel agent the package sometimes goes to the agent and they need to forward it on to you. The latter scenario obviously delays receipt by a day or two at the very least and, if you have a lazy agent who sits on the package after it arrives, can delay receipt longer.

Booked it myself online, but called Disney directly to add ME info.

If it's room only, expect the package 4-6 weeks ahead. If you booked a WDW package the ME information is integrated into the Mickey Mail voucher booklet you'll get about 4 weeks out. The yellow tags will be in that mailing too.
