Magical Express without luggage tags

Somehow in the busy past few months I forgot to reserve Magical Express until yesterday, 11 days out from our trip. I spoke with a representative who said they're mailing the tags but it's not a guarantee they'll arrive. I understand that we have two options...claiming our own bags and taking them on the Magical Express bus with us or going to the Magical Express counter showing our luggage claim tickets and letting ME claim our bags. Has anyone let Magical Express claim their bags? I'm a little nervous about a bag being missed but the ME rep said they do this all of the time. Not dealing with our luggage would be nice! Thoughts? Thanks!

People do it every day. I wouldn't be at all concerned about it.

Last fall I "lost" our ME tags. I have no idea what i did with them. We had them claim our bags, without tags, and it was perfect.
