Magical Express Travel Time

I had originally booked my flight inbound to Orlando leaving at 9:30 a.m. arriving about noon. They have now made that flight a 11:10 a.m. flight and we would arrive at 1:30.

We have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's at 5:10 p.m. and this is a Saturday arrival. I'm guessing we won't get to our hotel (POFQ) until 3 or 3:30 right? I don't want to feel rushed on my vacation and am considering changing my flight to a 7:40 a.m. departure putting me into Orlando at 10:00 a.m. - Probably a better choice - right??

Most reports on these boards have said the average time on ME from deplaning to resort is 70-90 minutes. Then you need to check in, etc.

I think you will have enough time, but if you are feeling rushed, you should do what makes you comfortable. Like you said, it's your vacation!

If you arrive at 1:30, you should be in your resort checkin line by 3:00. I was the last of three stops and it still only took me 85 mins to get from the plane to resort. You will most likely want to freshen up in the room, so be sure to have whatever you will need in your carryon bag. Your checked bags will arrive up to 2-3 hrs. after you checkin.
You should be able to make it to Chef Mickeys in plenty of time....arrive at 1:30, get to resort by 3:00, in room by 3:30, at bus stop for MK by 4:15, arrive at MK at 4:45, walk over to CM's, be there by 5:00. That would be my worst case scenario. Now, you may just want to change your flight and not have any worries at all...completely up to you!! I always like to get to WDW as soon as humanly possible.
