If I have an international flight (MCO - Canada) booked at 4:40 pm, what time would Magical Express pick up be? We normally rent a car and drive ourselves to the airport but from years ago, I seem to remember a 4 hour in advance pick up? Thanks!

Pretty sure International pick up time is 4 hours before departure. 3 hours for domestic.
We opt to spring for Uber for our return to the airport

Curious, how long does it take to MCO if you take Uber?

It depends on the day, the time of day and traffic on the chosen route. Not to mention the RIDICULOUS security lines that are very slow moving (think tons of families, little kids, strollers, panicked mothers, etc).

About 35 min, give or take 10 min.
We leave WDW 2 hours before our flight. Note, we have already checked bags and we have PreCheck. 2 hours is more than enough time for us to get through security and to our gate.
And by 2 hours I mean we are outside and have called for the car by 2 hours, not just walking out at 2 hours before.

Thinking about doing this for upcoming trip as it would give us at least another hour in park...maybe 2 considering I wouldn't have to take transportation from park back to resort. What do you do with carry on bags tho? Just bring them with you? On SWA so I guess I could just check bags instead of doing carry on only, but was trying to figure out what I could possibly do with a carry on bag. (I like carry on only b/c then I don't have to wait for my bag once I land and can get on the road faster)

We do check our big suitcases but for our carry on bags there are lockers at the parks.
Best parks are HS and Epcot. There are large lockers, plenty big enough for a suitcase, outside security. Note, these work on cash only, quarters, so plan ahead (unlike us the first time).
MK has lockers that can hold your carry on but they are inside security so we prefer Epcot.
Not sure what AK has outside the park, I know they have them big enough inside the park.
You can always take Uber to the parks if you have a big suitcase and don't want to check it.

Oh, and DH has mentioned the possibility of checking our bags at a resort near the park we go to, like CR for MK or BC for Epcot or HS.
I personally don't feel right checking a bag if we aren't staying there but I can't exactly explain why. At any rate, we haven't done it, we done the locker thing each time.

I know MK will be the park on the last day. I always need one more ride on Splash. Didn't know they had locker bug enough though so thanks for the info! Just a 4 day trip so don't have lots to pack although still contemolating checking b/c it is free after all and then I wouldn't have to worry about the liquid stuff only being 3oz. We shall see....I'll probably do whatever the friend I'm going with does.
