Magical Express-signing up

Hi~

I had signed up for Magical Express initially and remember giving my arrival/departure times as well as flight numbers. My airline changed my flight and when I called back to update, I was told that they did not need my arrival and departure times. Can anyone confirm this information? I am just paranoid and want to make sure that is correct.

My agent informs me that you need to give them the times.

From the FAQ:

Q: What if I change my airline flights?

A: Contact the Group Reservation office with the new information.

I would call them back and question that. Sounds like a mis-informed CM.

UGH!!!

I just called DVC member services regarding this information and I was told again that all they needed was my flight number not my arrival/departure times. I don't know what to do, I know I had to give this information when I initially signed up.

I wonder if I need to call again later?

If they have your flight # then they can find out the times.

If your flight number changes, they need to know. If your flight time changes but the flight number is the same, then they should be all set because they will track passenger arrivals by flight number.

We had a flight change for our return trip and when we called Disney to update it the CM wanted to know our new flight number, time and destination. I would call again if that will make you rest easier.

Most of the transportation companies request flight numbers to track your flights. This way they can get the real time data and know where you are and when to expect you. This would avoid a lot of confusion if flights get delayed significantly.
