In Early May I was fortunate to come across one of those 24 hour 40% off codes. Long story short I changed my room only reservation to a package deal. It was then that I added my Flight info, which was purchased in February. Okay, June 22nd the package was paid in full and it was that day again I gave Disney my Air info (because they claim they didn't have it). A few weeks later I get my magical express info in the mail. My sister asks me to bring my niece (not a problem) so we add her to our package. Again, Disney claims that they don't have my flight info. I give them my info and my niece’s info (who is coming from Birmingham, AL). Today, something told me to call Magical Express directly and make sure everything was together. Again, I was told they didn't have my info and my 'new' magical express booklet is scheduled to be printed today. How is it that Disney doesn't have my info, I have my Magical Express tags. Disney claims that since I added another person, they have to create a new booklet and cancel my old one. Was anyone going to tell me? The CM tells me that since I adding my niece the new printed book might not have my flight information on it, if it doesn’t - call them back. Is this normal?

I wouldn't be scared at all! Twice I haven't received my Magical Express in time and both times everything turned out great!

They took my baggage info at the airport Magical Express Counter and there was no problem. It's been so efficient, it's scary!

Okay, take a deep breath here. Now, you really don't have to worry. As long as DME has your niece in their system, she'll be fine. I would call DME directly, just to be sure that your niece is in their system. Ask the person you talk to if you'll be able to use the same luggage tags you already got in the mail. I would imagine that you can as long as the resort reservation number is the same. I have found that CRO isn't the best at giving correct info, but if you talk to DME directly you should be able to get your info straight.

This was May 2006. We have added someone to our reservation last minute and called DME directly. No problem with anyone. We were already a party of 5 and had 10 tags, we only had 7 bags, so there were plenty of extra tags for person #6.

When we arrived, they had her correctly in their system, and printed her out a boarding voucher right then and there and everything was all set.

May 2007, we were planning on driving and only 12 days before our trip we got an incredible Ding! fare, so we called DME, added our flights. They told us we might not get our booklet in time. This was on a Sunday. On Thursday, our booklet arrived by Express. (DHL Express, I think.) So the DME folks are really on the ball. There does seem to be a slight disconnect sometimes between the computers at CRO and the DME computers.

For our trip this past May I had to cancel one of our rooms and put my daughter in my room. When I got my ME packet there were only enough luggage tags for me. I took one of the tags and copied it on my color printer and cut it out and put in on my daugters luggage. When we got to the DME counter at MCO I told the CM that may daughter had been added to my room reservation, they checked to confirm this and then printed a voucher for her at the desk so she could board the bus.
It was very quick and easy, and her luggage got to the room with mine.

Yes, I agree don't worry. We never had correctly printed booklets. As long as the ME people know that is all that matters. I have found them to be very good.
