Magical Express return trip question

On our last day we plan to check our bags in the morning & head for Downtown Disney for the morning. Can we arrange to be picked up by the Magical Express at a hotel close to Downtown Disney or will we have to return to POP to catch the Magical Express?

We have never used the return service. It's not a big deal either way,but I am just trying to explore my options.

ME will have your information as staying at the POP, you will need to return to the POP for your trip back to the airport.

DME will pick you up ONLY from the resort where you are/were a registered guest. Sorry.
