Magical Express return trip question

Hi, We are planning to use ME service and our return flight home isn't leaving til 7 p.m. We will check in our luggage and get our boarding passes in the morning and head for the parks. Is it possible to just take a taxi from the park to the airport instead of going back to the hotel and taking the ME bus. (Reasoning being more time in the parks before we have to leave). I know this kind of defeats part of the purpose of using ME.

You can get yourself back to the airport any way you'd like, and still use Resort Airline Check-in for your luggage.

Resort Airline Check-in and DME are actually two totally separate operations. So yes, check in earlier in the day, and then get to MCO on your own dime in your own time. What will you do with your carry-ons?

The carryons are going to be the problem. My DH, DFIL, DS, and DD all usually just use backpacks as their carryons. I on the other hand usually use a larger carryon that I don't want to cart around Epcot. The carryons can be much lighter since we are traveling home. Are there lockers for storage at the parks,especially Epcot?

Mears Taxi cabs are available at the taxi stands at the theme parks. I would carry the Mears number just in case you walk out and do not see the yellow checker cabs waiting to take care of you. 407-422-2222. Just call the number and they will have a cab picking you up within 5 or 10 minutes.

Yes, all the parks have lockers close to the entrance areas.
