magical express return to airport

I know there is a bunch of threads about the ME that I searched through, but I couldn't find the answer to my question!! I am staying at the BC this August and have a 7:50pm return flight home. That last day we wanted to spend the morning at the Magic Kingdom, so my question is can you get picked up by ME at a different resort than the one you stayed (as long as you made a reservation to be picked up there)? For example, we would check out of the BC and take our luggage to the Contemporary and leave it with the bell hop. Then we could spend the morning/afternoon at the MK and then go to the Contemporary (which would be much closer to the MK than the BC) to catch the bus. Just trying to maximize time in the park the last day ! thanks in advance for any advice .

I am sorry I cant help with your question but I was wondering, will the contemporary hold your luggage if you are not staying there? Another thing to consider if you are using disney transportation there is not a direct bus from one resort to another. So you would have to take 2 buses with your luggage. I am assuming since you want to maximize your time in the park you will be doing this early in the morning when the buses will be the most crowded with people going to the parks. Hope someone can help with you question. Have a great time on your trip.

Sorry, this has been asked before, and unfortunately you can't do it that way. If DME is to pick you up, it MUST be at the resort where you were a guest.

You are not allowed to take luggage on the Disney buses either. At least that was the case a year ago. I would just plan on getting back to BC. You won't be picked up by DME until close to 5:00, so you could plan on leaving MK by 3-3:30 and still have plenty of time to get back and collect your luggage.
