My daughters and I are flying to MCO on 9/1 and plan to take the bus to OKW. My husband isn't flying in until the next day. Can he still take the bus even though it is a day behind us?
Also, how far in advance do you have to leave WDW to get back to MCO to catch our plane on the way back home? Is 2 and a half hours before our flight enough time?

Yes. You just have to give separate flight info to ME in order to arrange separate arrivals.

ME says 3 hours on departure for domestic flights and 4 for international.

Call or go online to the DME site and put in the flight info for you and your daughters and for your husband.

The morning before you are leaving you will get an envelope from DME listing the pick up time for your return to MCO. It will be approx 3 hours before flight time since it looks like you are from Connecticut. The time listed is when the bus is scheduled to leave your resort so you should be at the bus stop 15 minutes prior to that time.

Our family oftens arrives at different times/days!! We've never had an issue. We even depart on different days. When booking your DME reservations, you should be able to book for different people/times/dates.

As far as going back to the airport, DME will pick you up right around 3 hrs prior to your flight...give or take 15 mins either way. And yes, that 2.5 hrs prior to your flight should be plenty of time. I'm usually sitting at the gate 90 mins prior to departure. Only one time have I had less than a 45 min wait before departure.
