Do you have to go directly to the bus after deplaning? We will be arriving in MCO ~ 12:30PM with a 3 year old who will probably be needing lunch; if we wait until we get to ASSp she is going to be starving. Is it OK to stop and grab a quick lunch at the airport before going to the ME bus?

DME does not "care" what time you show up... early/late/never! as long as you have a reservation, you can arrive whenever it works for you...

as an example, our flight landed at about 10am but my niece's flight was not scheduled to land until 11:30am... so we just made ourselves comfy in the airport, had some snacks, did a little shopping, etc and all took the DME together around noon... no problem!

Won't be an issue. I would suggest that you take along some kind of snack that you can hand out towards the end of the flight. By stopping for lunch, you will add a lot of time to your airport to resort trip. That way, you can grab something bigger at the food court when you get to the resort.
I always hate taking the time to eat when I get to to MCO, before heading to the resort.
But, then again, I'm not 3!! So, do what works best for you and your child. But, DME doesn't care what time you show up.
