Magical Express Question

We have a trip planned for the end of February @ SSR, I love that place and we realized that we forgot to make a ME reservation. We were able to get it in but it was after the 3 week out date. Is there any chance of use getting our packets with the tags or not? If not, I had seen that you can use your baggage claim stickers at the counter to get them to collect our bags. Is this true and if so does it cause a delay in luggage delivery? Thanks for any info.

Yes.... last August I called 10 days in advance inquiring where my ME packet was... they sent it to me in 3 business days.

I traveled inside a week of booking last year and they didn't even send a book to me - not sure what their cutoff is. However, I was travelling alone with a 2 year old and needed that luggage assistance that ME provides, so with a little bit of trepidation, I brought my baggage claim tickets to DME. I had select the bags most like mine from a little menu that they have and they put in the baggage claim numbers and sent me on to my resort. There was no problem with the bags being delivered, no delay that I noticed. I suppose it might be quicker with the tags, but we went out for the evening and when we got back a few hours later, our bags were there. I didn't even have a piece of paper to show the DME counter, but I was in the system and they took care of me, no problem.
