This has probably been asked before...sorry but just wondering when you use the ME and they pick you up at the gate do you go straight to your resort or do you ride around for a while picking up other guests at other gates? About how long does it take to get to the resort? (PoP Century)

No one gets picked up at their arrival gate. everyone has to walk to the airport's DME Welcome Center. After you get checked in, you are told which bus queue to get in, and from there are led to your bus. Your bus will have people from your resort and up to 3 others.

The reported average from landing to resort drop-off is 70 minutes. I made it last week in 56 minutes.

On your return trip to MCO does DME make more than one stop at the different terminals or does it drop you off at the DME Welcome center as well?

The ME makes two stops on your return to MCO. Each stop services several airlines. We arrived in the area you would be in if you had returned a rental car, then took the elevator up to the 4th floor of the terminal to the ticketing area.

Going back to the airport the ME bus makes two dropoffs, one on the A side and one on the B side. The exact locations along the curb are not predictable as it depends on what space (berth) is available.

If you have minimal or no baggage to carry off of the bus you may find it quickest to get off at the first stop.

My husband is coming into MCO on Dec 1 on SW's last flight for the day. He lands at 11:10 pm. How late do the ME busses run ? Do you think he'd arrive at CBR (where we will have arrived already earlier in the day), by 12:15 am ? A friend of mine mentioned it might be 12:45 or 1 am before he gets to CBR ? I think I'd prefer to pick him up with our rental if that is the case. Thanks.

My dd and dh rode DME a day after I checked in. They arrived at POP around 11:15, after arriving at MCO at 10ish. They had no luggage to speak of so that wasn't an issue. I would think that if your dh lands at 11:10, he should be at CBR around 12:15-12:30, depending on which stop he is on the bus. I wouldn't drive to MCO to pick him up in any case....way too much aggrevation to save about 30 minutes.

Thanks Diane........I just know he'll be tired. He's coming in from a long day. And he won't have any luggage----we'll bring his with us earlier in the day.
