Magical express/ no flight question

I am staying checking into SSR on a Thursday with my family. My Mom is leaving on Sunday and we plan on going to MCO with her. We then are checking into the BCV later that day so I have a confirmed ressie for the date we are going to be at the airport even though it is not technically the beginning of my trip or the day of my flight.

My question is can sign up and use Magical Express with a reservation number and no flight that day? Was planning on taking a taxi but would love to save any money that I can.
