I received our ME mail via UPS yesterday (36 days out) and had to make a quick call to the toll free number (866 599 0951) as my flight info was missing from the package info! :rolleyes1 I should have gone with my gut feeling about the Disney CM, I dealt with on the phone. She said she could take my flight info for ME, but obviously did not input all the parties flights.....I had a different flight from the two friends I am travelling with. Their info got into the system, mine did not! We all are flying back on the same flight, so I wasn't really worried about return pick-up.

Anyway, I spoke directly to a very knowlegible and friendly ME CM from Buffalo who righted the wrong and now all flight info is as it should be!

Lesson learned! Always phone ME direct.

PS He even told me I should receive my Mickey Mail in 1 week and agreed with me, that JB from SYR is the way to go, rather than fly from a Canadian Airport! :thumbsup2

I find it so much easier flying from Buffalo with our family, especially if you are staying on site. Checking into my flight from the hotel makes life so much easier when you have three kids (3,5,7) in tow. We leave in just over a week!

When are you going?

When we have gotten ours , our flight info hasn't been on it, either. We just picked up our own bag.:/

We leave Nov 27 from Syr. Two parties of 3 each without husbands! Should be a blast!

My party goes over a day early and stays at the HI express near the SYR airport, so we can get some shopping in. We find it easier to shop then, leave our purchases in the car, so we don't have to cart them to WDW. Works great with our duty free also. We make our purchases as we are crossing the border, leave them in the car (alcohol doesn't freeze :rotfl:) and then we are good to cross once we return.

The second party is braver as they are driving over the day of their flight! :scared1:

I  flying from SYR. Been a frequent flyer for 25 years!

It doesn't actually matter if they have your flight information correct or not. I have flights changed many many times, the date as well, and as long as you have that package with your transfer, your fine. It doesn't really matter that your 'flight' isn't in there.

And speaking to the ME end of things doesn't matter as they actually messed up my flights the first time I used them. The last bunch of times, I've always just gone threw a Disney CM and never had trouble. Just depends which person you speak with.

End of the day, you have that book, your fine. OR, if you show up without the whole package, go to the desk. It will work out.

I agree with PP. I don't really think it matters. Last year I added my neice on our reservation December 31st for our flight out on Jan 2nd. I thought I would have to go up to the counter itself to get her added on. It turned out I did not have to , the person who scans your ticket just wrote in one more and she was on the bus.

According to ME, apparently having the correct info does make a difference. Although ME will pick up and transport all bags having the yellow ME sticker, having the correct flight info and reservation number will prevent additional delays to your luggage arriving at your resort and assigned room.
