I have a question that I hope you guys can answer. I will be going to the World in April with a friend. I live in MD and she lives in NC. Our flight times in and out will be different. I know I should be able to just give her her voucher for the flight home to get to the airport, but for arriving she will have to wait for me. I don't think the time will be too bad, but will both our luggage get picked up regardless? I will be sending her her luggage tag. I just want to make sure that since she will probably be on an earlier flight that she will be able to have her luggage picked up before I get there with the ME book. Thanks!

No problem with the luggage. Incoming yellow tagged luggage is summarily removed to the resorts unsynchronized with guest movements.

If you want to plan for the eventuality you and she might get on different DME buses, you can make copies of all of the DME materials to send to her.

No problem. If your friend gets there before you do, she can either just sit down and wait for you, or she can take the DME bus and meet you at the resort. Either way, she'll be fine. She doesn't really need those vouchers, in hand. They should be able to bring her name up in the system and print one out for her, right at the counter. But, if she chooses to meet you, there at the DME area, then nothing needs to be done.
For the return back to the airport, be sure DME has info for both departing flights...you don't want them to be picking one of you up too late!!!

If it were me, I'd assume that one of the 2 flights will be terribly late and plan accordingly. I'd plan on traveling to the resort separately and relax at the resort while waiting for the other person. I'd much rather hang out at the resort than at MCO. If the first person who arrives at the airport finds out that the other flight is on time, then have a pre-determined place to meet. Cell phones help the communication.

We had this happen a few years ago; by the time we added my fourth friend to the ressie, the flight down was already booked. A flight left about 90 minutes after ours. We decided it would be easier to wait at MCO so we could all stay together - since it was her first time down there.
