Magical Express from AKL

First time poster.

Does anyone know how many stops the Magical Express makes after picking up from the AKL? Or.... is AKL the first stop since its the farthest out.

Welcome to the DIS boards! There really isn't any set route, heading to, or from, the airport. I have had vastly different routes when traveling from the same resort back to the airport.

In my four AKL trips the order has always been the same. The last to get dropped off on arrival and the first to get picked up going home. Other stops are usually Pop and AOA.

Not always. I've stayed at both AKL/Kidani and Pop/AoA on many occasions. It seems to run 50/50....the times I've been in a hurry, the bus has gone to AKL first, with Pop being last. Drives me nuts. They must know when I need to get to Pop quickly! Other times AKL was first.
I honestly can't remember the order or route going back to the airport. I'll be sure to remember after my stay in two weeks!!!

Goofy4Tink is correct. There aren't any fixed routes for DME. It depends on demand (number of guests and resorts needing pickup/drop-off) at any given time. That being said, there may be some tendencies that cause some resorts to be grouped on a similar route at times, but it's never a guarantee.
