Magical Express from Airport not flying in

I am attending a conference for 4 days and then we will be taking a disney cruise. I have rented a car and have reserved a hotel over by port canaveral we will be returning our car to MCO after the cruise and are staying three nights at the boardwalk villas. Can we use magical express to get from the airport to our hotel when we haven't flown in that day.

Absolutely. It may make it easier if you find a flight that's coming in about when you expect to drop off the car and use that to make a reservation. However, anyone staying at a Disney resort can use DME from MCO to that resort on the day they check in.

Heck, I have used DME even on days we're not checking in, but just returning a car to the airport. When visiting VB, for example, sometimes it's more cost-effective to return the car to the airport, but it's still nice to have a car for a few days at WDW. So I have simply made a DME reservation for the day our car rental finishes, return it to MCO and take DME back to the resort.
