Magical Express for International flights

I will soon be arriving at WDW from the United Kingdom and staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge.

I have just been told by concierge that " I cannot utilize Disney's Magical Express as it is for guests on domestic flights only"

I believe they are wrong, but I don't want to tell them so until I am absolutely sure of my facts.

My understanding was that guests arriving on international flights have to collect their luggage and take them through customs, but could then get tags from Disney staff outside customs, then put luggage back into the Magical Express luggage system.

I also understand that none of the international airlines have resort check in facilities for the return flight and that I will have to check my luggage in at the airport.

With these exceptions, I understand that can use Magical Express.

Can anyone confirm this for me.

You are absolutely correct, as I understand it.

Who is telling you this?? If a Disney person, ask them to read their own FAQ. If not, tell them to read it too.

It is true that only certain domestic airlines participate in the remote (at resort check in) for your return trip. So you would bring your bags to the bus, have them transported with you and check them in at the airport.
