Magical Express, etc ?

I was just wondering how long it usually takes from until you leave the airport until you are taken to your hotel ( i realize you may make several stops first). For example, our flight is supposed to get in at 6:11pm so should we expect to be at the WL before 8? The MK is only open until 10 that night so we figured we'd grab a quick dinner at Roaring Forks (our DDP wont start till the next day) then head to Poly to see the fireworks but then what should we do? We have a free pass to use at a mini golf place and free tix to use at Disney Quest or should we just hang at the pool for the rest of the night (given it is open late since its not considered summer yet in May)???? If anyone has any advice please let me know. Although it would only be a few bucks to add on another day at the park, we tend to like to settle into our room, although our luggage wont be there yet to unpack, but I dont really see it worth it to end up spending only an hr in the park but if you have advice please let me know!! Everything is planned expept for our first night bc we dont know what time we will get there for sure!!

You will find, in numerous posts, that the average time from deplaning to resort checkin, is about 70 minutes. So, you should plan on that timing, more or less.
As for what to do that first night.....get something to eat, get settled in your room, check out the resort, maybe head to DTD for a few hours. But, you may be best off just hitting the hay early and getting a fresh start in the morning!!
