Magical Express Ending?

Haven't been in a few years, but heard this service is coming to an end. Is there something replacing it?

Yes. There are already existing threads on this topic. DME is ending at the end of this year. MEARS has announced it will still provide the service for a fee, but I don't believe those details have been released yet

Nothing that's free as far as I've heard. There will be paid shuttles, among other traditional options (Uber, Lyft, Taxi). The new train will also come online at some point and take guests to the Disney Springs area.

Fyi whatever replaces ME buses is not going to duplicate ME's checked luggage service, which has already ended.

There won't be any direct replacement as mentioned above. You can also rent a car which I didn't see mentioned yet as a choice as well. That train service is just a proposal at this point and still in the 'talking' stages and may never happen, construction could take a few years so clearly not an option now. IF there is ever train service, I have yet to see any plan for how to get you & your luggage from Disney Springs to your Disney hotel.

There is a company called Bags VIP that will deliver your bags to your hotel and if you get the round trip service to your home when you get back as well. But when delivered to Bell Services, you will either have to go pick them up from Bell Services or ask Bell Services to deliver to your room. If they deliver to your room, you may get charged a delivery fee from the hotel.
