Magical Express, DVC and cash room

We are arriving 5/22 at the Dolphin for one night, then 9 nights at BCV. Do I call CRO to set up Magical Express or DVC? I thought ME was only available for package deals, and I only have a room for one night. How does this work?Anyone know who I would call to set this up, or am I out of luck?

Call MS and talk to them. ME is not just for packages. If you are staying at a DVC, you quailify. I know you can schedule ME for your trip back to the airport. Since your first night is a stay at the Dolphin (not participating) hotel, you may be out of luck for travel to the resort from the airport. Call, let them expalin it. All they can say is "Sorry, no".

Anyone staying at a Disney resort qualifies for DME, including DVC resorts. Sadly, the Swan/Dolphin do not participate in DME (being Starwood properties) so you would not be able to use it on the inbound leg. I am thinking that you might think of switching from the Dolphin to maybe a Moderate or Value for that first night, so that Disney will tranport you and schlep all of your luggage for you. Otherwise, you still have to arrange and pay for transportation to the Dolphin, meet your bags at the baggage claim and get them to your transportation option...

Do the math. Sure you may have a good deal for that night at the Dolphin, but if you include the cost of transportation, maybe one fo the Disney resorts will price out better.
