I had to add a name to my reservation and so while on the phone with member services I arranged for the Magical Express. I did not get any kind of e-mail confirmation but the new name is now listed on my reservation on the members web page. I don't see anywhere on the members page to check that the Magical Express was added. Short of contacting Member Services again, is there any way to confirm that I am set for Magical Express? Thanks.

It comes in the mail about a month before your trip.

We received an email about a week later after requesting the service online. When you first add ME, it is considered a request. Then after doing whatever it is they do, then you get "confirmed" and from our experience it takes a week or so.

Sorry for the dumb question, but is their a charge for the Magical Express from MCO to Animal Kingdom if we are staying on points? We have never been to Florida and have used all our points here at Disneyland or for a cruise when we had an abundance. We are planning on visiting in November of 2014. Thank you!

Magical Express is currently free for anyone staying at a WDW owned resort, including DVC.

Thank you Debbie. Now to figure out how to get to the port from Animal Kingdom and back to MCO after our cruise.

You can pay Disney to take you or you can rent a car.

Magical Express is free if you are staying on Disney property. I believe Disney runs a bus to the different resorts from/to the port but there is a charge.

The DME type bus to the port is like $80 per person round trip. You can Google for all of your options.

Bill, unless they just raised the price I believe it is $35 one way person or $70 round trip.
We are paying $70 r/t per person this May from BLT to port and back port to BLT:goodvibes

I'm guessing that you are correct, I remember the cost being around $80 but it was probably $70. We have only been on one Disney cruise and we rented a car to get from WDW to the port. At that time the car rental was a lot less than Disney transportation.

Seems that way with all cruise lines. We got a cruise as a gift from my brother in law (works for Norweigian) and the shuttle from Ft Lauderdale airport to Miami port is $25 per person one way. So for our family of 4 that's $100 for a half hour ride! Because of that we ended up booking two nights at OKW just before the cruise, and we're renting from Avis at a hotel at DTD to drive to Miami for the cruise. Flight to Orlando is less, the car rental is less than the shuttle, and we get an extended vacation. Never would have even looked into staying at disney if the cruise shuttle was so much.
