Magical Express Buss......

will it still be going on in December(for free)? My mom and I will be going to Disney World, December 5-12,2006 and wanted to know if they will still be having the Magical Express Buss going on then.

To the best of our knowledge, yes, DME will still be running and be free until the end of '06. After that, who knows. Disney is currently in discussions with MCO about contracts with MCO and how it will change/stay the same.

Expanding on Gooffy4tink's response: That's "currently" as in today. There's an open (to the public) meeting today about this very issue.

I will be there the exact same dates as you. When I called and asked that exact question the response was that it will be free through the 50th but they didn't know when that was going to end officially. However the CM did state that as long as I add the ME service to my reservation while it is still free I would be "grandfathered" in even if they do begin charging when we actually arrive. I haven't added it yet because I haven't booked my airline yet but as soon as I get the air I will add ME. Hope that helps.

How cool is that, that we are both going to be at Disney World the exact same dates! Maybe will see you there! And that does help, when I call for my room reservations I will tell them I would like to at ME to it. I do have our airline booked, so I can give them that info.
