magical express and luggage

I was just wondering what happens if you aren't in your room when magical express delivers your luggage. Do they just leave it outside your room (CBR) or do they leave it at the front desk? I'm just thinking that after we check in we could hit the Mk or go to Chef Mickey's for dinner? Also, how long after we arrive should I expect it to be there? Thanks.

They will just put it inside your room, you don't need to be there. So go out and have fun!

Just make sure you pack anything you might need in a carry-on bag that you keep with you. We didn't get our luggage until about 6:30 PM one time. They can sometimes get pretty backed up.

Per DME's info packet, you can expect your bags to be delivered to your resort room within 3 hours after resort checkin. I usually head to a park after checking in. My bags are nicely lined up in my room when I return later in the day.
