I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, im travelling from England in October with my partner, we have booked our holiday, staying at the Riverside, we wanted to make the most out of our first holiday so we are staying the first night in a hotel by the airport and our Disney tickets and hotel dont start until the next day. We want to use the Magical Express to get to Disney, is this still possible even though we techniqually flew in the day before our tickets start? I'd really appreciate any information anyone has on this matter. Thanks guys & girls!!!!

Yes, just go on the airport website and find any flight number arriving the next day and give them that flight number. They don't check to see if you are actually on that flight.

Yes. ME doesn't care when you flew in and there are no mouse police that check to be sure you arrived that day.

As a registered guest with Disney you are allowed to use Magical Express on the day you check into your resort.

Thanks everyone really appreciate the help!!!

Only 139 more days until i arrive at the Mouse House!!!

So ive booked the Magical Express... eventually!! ;) Just wondering about how it works, do we just go to the terninal when we head back over the to airport and take the next available ME, is that how it works? Or do we have a book an actual time nearer the day? Cheers guys!!

basically. You'll check in, they organize you by resort, and when they get enough people, they'll dispatch a bus that will stop at a couple of resorts.

Well we decided to have an extra day in Florida, so we have 14 days in WDW. Plus the day before we head to WDW we are hitting the malls and catching up on sleep. Our flights take 13 hours, plus we'll have been travelling a further 5 hours before we even leave England, so i reckon im going to be pretty tired and dont want to miss out on any WDW action!! :lovestruc

You will receive a booklet with transportation vouchers. It will have a map showing the location of the ME area; it is on the lower level.

There will be a check-in desk with a person standing just outside the line; she will review your documents and either ask you to step over to the desk or allow you to proceed directly to the bus line, if you have no issues.

You will be directed to a line, by your resort. They group them by similar locations and usually three to four per bus.

When you are lead out to the bus area, the bus driver will load your bags under the bus. You should tip about a dollar a bag.

When you arrive at your destination, he will offload the bags.

Thank you. Do you tip at the end of the trip or before you start? Or should i tip for both? x

Im driving from Newcastle to Manchester - 3hours, then we leave Manchester at 8.45am, arrive in London at 9.45am, leave London 11.20 arrive in Orlando at 15.35. The flights will take me 10 hours, so thats 13 all told!!

But i still want an extra day in Florida.

We are spending a full 14days in WDW and 1 day checking out the malls before hand!! Fun Times!!

Actually, that is not true either. If you come from Canada (which is outside of the US), you do get the booklet.

This doesn't changes things for the OP (who is from the UK), but the statement (as written) was wrong.
