Wow, Cindy, 57 degrees in January in Illinois is pretty darn warm! I can remember from all my years of living in Michigan, 57 degrees was considered to be a heat wave and we rode around with the windows rolled down!

Now, living in Texas all these years, 57 degrees might as well me 57 below zero because it's parka time at that temperature!

It has been it the 70's the last couple of days and EVERYONE (including us) have been in winter coats, hats, mittens, etc... It's amazing how fast you acclamate (sp?) to your environment, hunh? I remember the day we moved down here, it was 9 below zero in Michigan and 74 degrees in Texas. I was in heaven!!!

I have never been back from that nasty day in February, not even to visit. I am definately a warm climate person!
I hope the temperature stays that high for you and you a mild winter
