Magical character meets (Hercules & Tinkerbell)

We arrived at our hotel yesterday after our last few hours in the Magic Kingdom. We were preparing to get on the Magical Express back to the airport when who do we see in our lobby but Tinkerbell and Hercules! Talk about pixie dust! What a wonderful opportunity to meet a rare character with a short line! And I had wanted to meet Tinkerbell but didn't take the time at the park to do it. I'm wondering if it was a training for new characters or something like that. My friend that went with us thought she recognized the "friend" of Mary Poppins in her street clothes also in the hotel lobby around that time.

I'm wondering if it was a training for new characters or something like that.

Characters are getting ready to be out on the course for the Princess 1/2 Marathon runs in a couple of weeks. Most likely sent out to "dry" locations yesterday!

Character training was happening a couple weeks ago when we were there. Met tons at Epcot they brought out by America Pavilion that our CM friend said they were all training.

We've also become more aware of characters at the resorts on cold or rainy days too - a nice perk to families staying there. We were at DHS when we heard Launchpad was at Port Orleans. Favorite of DS who we never met, so he left on a bus and met him plus about 6 others, then bused back to park to join back up.
