I realize the Magical Beginnigs incentive is a bit of an oxymoron since it doesn't sound very magical starting in the DVC by giving up your points, but I want to consider all my options so have some ??'s.
I would assume you can use the Magical Beginnings incentive with the $10 off per point which is how people buy AKV at $97/point. Also assuming I can get a Sept or Oct UY and used the Magical Beginnings incentive, does this mean I wouldn't pay dues until the 2011 calendar year OR would my dues be prorated for 2010 based on UY OR would I pay full 2010 dues?
I realize I could try to rent the 2009 points, but not sure I should try to do that as a 1st year owner.
(We are also considering resale as an option for saving some $/point)
So what are your experiences, comments, opions...re: Magical Beginnings?
Thanks!

We bought our first set of points last June. We got $10 off for buying over 200 pts and then another $8 for member referral, so our points were 93$ direct from Disney. I post this so you can kinda compare your value. We ended up using our points for a studio SV at AKV. in Oct (we did have reservations for Pop). However in looking back, it would have been wiser at that time to bank our points and keep the Pop res. because we booked it with a 40% pin code. Oh well, the savannah called to us. So I think if you have reservations already set or can use a pin code it is wise to sell the points back to
