:guilty: I BOUGHT 3 10 DAY NO EXPERATION PARK TICKETS FOR MY OCT 05 TRIP COMMING UP (FOR MY WIFE AND CHILD AND MYSELF) WHILE I WAS IN UNIVERSALSTUDIOS LAST MONTH VISTING ,MY OTHER KIDS WANTED TO GO TO DISNEYQUEST. SO THEY USED THE TICKETS. THEN THEY CAME TO ME AND SAID THAT THEY HAD THEIR FINGERPRINT TAKEN, BUT DIDN'T SIGN THE BACK OF THE TICKET.DOES THIS MEAN THOSE TICKETS CAN'T BE USED BY ME AND MY WIFE? (ROOKIE MISTAKE) ANY IDEAS? :cold: THANKS

Thank goodness you got the no expiration option! :bitelip:
And I think that you will be okay! Those finger things don't seem to work half the time, so they will just have you "re-set" with your finger scan, I think!
You should be fine. :goodvibes

Well ... that was an expensive visit to Disney Quest.

There is a reason why they say the tickets are not transferrable. Even so, you won't have a problem re-setting the fingerscan (not fingerprint). Just make sure to bring an ID with you.

By the way, it's considered rude to use all CAPS. Please turn off your Caps Lock when you post :). Thanks!

I think those tickets now belong to your kids. There is a reason that you have to scan your finger now. I don't why WDW would disregard the fact that they have already been used. The purpose of the finger scan is so that people can't share the ticket.

I'm assuming that there is so name on the ticket, so while that is why the finger scan is in use, they never seem to work half the time. Kept telling DM that she wasn't her....finally they just asked her what her name was, checked our tickets (we had the room key/parkhopper thing) and saw it was the same and let us on our merry way. I think your best option, apart from getting new tickets (which would be expensive) would be to just try the finger scan and then play dumb when it doesn't work. Good luck!! :wizard:

As long as it is yours/your wife's names on the tickets hopefully you should be ok. Try not to worry and have a great trip. We saw many, many problems with those finger scanners last week.

Not trying to be judgemental but isn't it also considered rude to correct someone? :confused3 Perhaps the poster didn't realize the caps were on and really it was only the poster's 3rd post. Give people a break. Have a nice day.

You r kids will probably spend enough of their lives at Disney to consume the rest of those tickets and more.

If the kids took the tickets without your permission you may want to dock their allowances a little each week to pay for those tickets.

Just another opinion.. I would think that Guest Relations (?) would have mercy on you if you explained the situation and the most you would be out is the cost of a couple 1- day admissions to DisneyQuest.

not really any of my business but did you think it was ok for others to use your tickets?( not being sarcastic) if so i might call and explain the situation( not giving your name Hehe) and just see what they can do. if it was an honest mistake maybe they'll help you out...no way i could just go through the line and pretend as i am too lousy of a liar! and who would want to get there and not know if you have passes or not..that would be pretty expensive!

Sorry about the caps, thanks for the advise.

I do not know about the tickets (good luck with that!), I just wanted to say that my first post I used all caps also (lazy typist syndrome) and someone asked me why I was YELLING!!! :rotfl: At first I had NO idea what they meant by that. So do not feel bad! You are not the only one to make that mistake. ;)

You can get a good price on DQ tickets through the link in the mousesavers newsletter.

I think the CM will let it slide and will reset the biometric data but I wouldn't make a habit of doing this. The reason Disney added biometrics is to prevent people from sharing tickets. I think children are more likely to use the water parks and DQ than adults.
