Magic your way express... good or bad choice?

Who has used the Magic Your Way Express- having your luggage taken from the Airport to your room? How long did you have to wait for your luggage to arrive? We are leaving on Thursday and I am debating using this service. Our plane lands at 6pm and we have dinner reservations at 8:30- 1900 Park Fare. Should I use the MYWE? We plan on taking a cab from Pop Century to the Grand Floridian to ensure we make our ressi's on time....

We used ME last September (six of us). We didn't seem to have too many problems. Took about five minutes (if that) for me to check in at the airport. We did wait about 15 minutes for our bus and then it takes about 1/2 hour or so to get to WDW. We checked in (we were at OKW), grabbed lunch and our suitcases were in our room by the time we finished lunch. You are cutting it short though (especially if you get delayed). Using Mears could take you the same time. A towncar might get you there better since they would be there when you landed but then you still have to wait for your luggage to come off the plane.

If you haven't registered already, there won't be time for the luggage tags to get to your home. Doesn't mean you can't use ME, just that they won't be able to get your luggage for you as it isn't identified by the yellow tags. You would have to get your own luggage and take it with you on the ME bus. This isn't really a problem, we had to do it last year when the tags didn't arrive. Worked very smoothly. The don't take reservations at the airport, you need to arrange that from home.

I have decided to close this thread since a duplicate exists (Transportation Board).

Magical Express can still handle your baggage for you, if you didn't get the yellow tags in time. It would take a little longer checking in at the welcoming area at the airport, you would need to point out what your baggage looks like on a chart.
