Magic Wishes used for meals

I purchased the Silver add-on plan. I am choosing to use my wishes for meals. My question is this - is there a set amount that you can spend or does it cover everything?

There's no set amount. Check out the brochure on Disney's site, it goes into greater detail there. Basically for lunch and dinner you'll get an appetizer, entree, dessert, cold, and hot drink of your choice. For breakfast you'll get an entree, cold, and hot drink. Tip and tax are also included (although we tend to tip a bit extra, but that's up to you). There are a few limitations - for example when we got a dessert or appetizer sampler platter we could get one for the 2 of us. Some places serve capp. as your hot drink, others just let you get coffee. Some places let you get smoothies for the cold drink, others don't. Some places let you add-on lobster tail or filet (free for you ). Just tell your server, they'll let you know right away if there are any extras available or if anything is excluded. Your servers will be very happy to see you since they're assured of a tip and will let you know how best to make the most of your wishes. HTH

You should check out mousesavers.com for information about making the most of your silver plan. The silver plan costs $68 per night extra for adults and $35 per night extra for kids. So, make sure your meals add up to at least that amount to make the plan worth it.

Couple of more tips - alcohol is billed separately and you should tip for that.

Since the server's base tip is determined by what you order, tell the serve that you are using wishes and they will often work with you to put together a special meal - we have had surf& turf when it wasn't on the menu. When the server helps this way they should get extra on the tip.
