When you check in at your resort is is possible to upgrade your tickets to hopper tickets?

Also, we just got the standard room....can you also upgrade to a preferred to be closer to the front of the resort or by the pool?

You can add the park hopper option any time during your stay.

Upgrading your room will depend on what's available. You can ask when you arrive, but if you really want to get a prefered room I would call and make the change on your reservation.

I agree with contacting Disney now to make the change to preferred. I think the rooms are generally assigned 10 days prior to your arrival. As for the hoppers, you can add them anytime, but you will still pay the same price, regardless of how many days you want to hop. It's about $50 per ticket.
