Hi! We'll be on a four night sailing on The Magic in February and we'll be doing the later seating for dinner. Is the show only on one night of the cruise and is there more than one show a night? Would we be seeing the show before dinner and how early should we arrive for great seats? Big Tangled fans in this house. Thanks!

Tangled is usually only on one night. They will have 2 shows.
One at 6:15 then those people will go to late dining (8:15).
One at 8:30 for the people who had early dining (5:45).
The doors open 30 minuets before the show. Almost all of the seats are good but if you want one of the first few rows center I would get there when the doors open.
**I don’t like the first row of the balcony. I’m on the shorter side and the safety rail in in my sight line to the stage.
I also don’t like the box seats (although they look so fun) on the second level. You can’t see the whole stage.

When I was on the Magic a year ago, they offered 3 performances of Tangled on the one day - the two night performances plus a matinee. I'm going to guess from previous replies that they are no longer performing the matinee.

Kinda related, I found it interesting when I was on the Wonder recently that they did NOT offer a matinee performance of Frozen, even though it was a much newer production compared to when I saw Tangled.

Something I noticed for my shows, not sure if this happens all the time, but the smoke machine was horrible. They had a fog come out and it went up above peoples heads for at least the first three rows. People were coughing and it was hard to breathe. For the rest of the shows I sat in row six and above to avoid it, and I don't have any breathing issues.

Disney Magic (and Disney Wonder, as well) does not have a balcony or box seats.

When we saw TANGLED on the Magic last year the Thug with the hook ("I've got a dream" song) was also one of the crew at our Safety Drill on day one. He gave wife and me a quick visual tour of the open lifeboat and we saw him several times during the cruise...what a hoot! Several DCL shows (including the floating lantern scene from TANGLED) spread their visuals from the stage left and right (or should I say port and starboard?) on the walls to make this almost a 360- degree panorama...very impressive and exciting. These shows are so creative in such a small space. On our WBTA we got a tour backstage, also by one of the show's cast members, which makes you appreciate the tons of work that goes into these productions. They even have the rocking of the ship to contend with...yikes! Later we went to the Snuggly Duckling, where seating is limited, but games great fun.

just off the Magic and the show was great. This is a show you want to be early for. On the cruise we were on, every seat was filled for the 8:30 show. Just a heads up.

And be sure to go the o'Gills that night! It's so much fun! There are two shows in the navigator. We went to both because we were told they were different. If you have kids, go to both, otherwise, only go to the adult only one! It's a lot of fun!

Are you talking about two different Tangled shows or something that happens at O'Gills?

Thanks for all the response!

That’s when they transform O’Gills into the snuggly duckling. It happens on Tangled day. There’s two sessions or shows. One in the afternoon that is all ages. And one at night after the last show (around 10pm). We went to the late show and it was a hoot. The ruffians played the piano and there was a bingo type of game. And they had German sausages.

Wow! Didn't know any of that. Thanks

All theatrical fog is water based.

I'm not sure what that means, but when it was covering my face I couldn't breathe. And everyone around us was coughing.
It means that the fog is just water vapor, so it really shouldn't cause a healthy person any breathing issues. Yes, those with Asthma and other breathing conditions may have a hard time, but unless there was a serious malfunction (which would have likely made them stop the show) it shouldn't cause most people any issues and in fact for some it may help them breath easier.

Also, be sure to check the navigator, they might offer a matinee performance as well. They did this for Frozen when we were on the Wonder and it was great to do it that way.
