Magic: November 1, 2013 5 night Western

Is anyone swimming with dolphins at either port? We did stingray city and snorkeling in grand cayman, and horseback riding at mr. sanchos in cozumel last year. We are thinking of going to dolphin cove in grand cayman this cruise with our 3 kids, 12, 10 and 6. Has anyone been there before?
Considering doing dolphins at chankanaab in Cozumel

Haven't received our docs yet, but we booked just a week and a half ago, so I'm not expecting them right away. As long as we get them before we sail! Not sure if we will do any excursions. We actually enjoy staying on the ships when we are in port - the pools and slides are nice and quiet. We've been to Cozumel and GC before, so we may get off and do a little wandering. We live by the beach, so we usually don't do anything that involves a beach excursion.

Hello neighbor! I live in North Port, just down the road from you, but I grew up in Sarasota!

We live near Anna Maria Island so we don't do beach stuff either. But we love to snorkel in the crystal clear Caribbean.

We visited the turtle farm last Sept. We loved it.

I saw a sea turtle swimming past the ship on the PC cruise. He was going the opposite direction than we were and so he went by really fast. One of the highlights of our cruises for me. :cloud9: Looking forward to learning more about them.

We are thinking of staying onboard the ship in cozumel this time. We currently live in Puerto Rico, so we can go to the beach anytime...we live about 2 miles from the closest beach.
We will stay on the ship while docked in Cozumel also......we just cruised this past Feb from Galveston and didn't care too much for Cozumel.

We did not care for Cozumel either, but we think the Mayan ruins will be very interesting for our son who is a huge history buff. Our grandson went with us to the ruins at Costa Maya a few years back, but he was only 7 so I think he will get a lot more out of it this trip. He is turning 14. Dennis and I will enjoy the refresher and seeing with another guide also.

Hello Everyone!!! Sorry I haven't been on. Work has been crazy!! Welcome to all the newcomers!! You will have a blast!! DH and I are doing the Turtle Farm in GC and still not sure about Cozumel. I would like to do the ruins but not sure if it's worth the money. Anyone been on that excursion before??
Also if anyone wants to link up dining with us, you are more than welcome. I would like to get a group if possible before I call in. We are on the late dining. I have one so far. If anyone else is interested let me know!!

Just highlighting this for you so that folks who might be interested don't overlook it. We are early or we for sure would take you up on it!

The tour we are doing to the ruins is really pretty inexpensive and we really enjoyed the one out of Costa Maya.

Heard on the news this morning that gas will go down 20 cents in the coming weeks. That's great news for all of us that's driving in!!!:woohoo:

Hope that's true!!! We're driving from the Tampa, FL area to the port (about 250 miles each way):yay:

My family will be on the Magic on November 1st. This is our third time sailing on a Disney ship, (Dec 2009, Nov 2011 and Nov 2013). My parents and brother along with his family will be joining also. We are a group of 11, (6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 9 to 14 years old.) My kids are looking forward to seeing the new Avenger Academy in the kids club, so we are decorating our door in an Avenger's theme. We are doing a family FE group, but I also plan on bringing items to randomly put in other FE. This will encourage my kids to walk the floors with me and check out the other decorated doors. This is my first time making a FE and giving gifts, any tips? pirate:

We are driving from Orlando after we fly from Washington State to which we will drive from Montana. :sad2: :rotfl2:

Hello, We are also cruising on Nove 1st (Magic) out of Miami. This is also our third cruise and first time participating in the FE. Can you tell me what is your room # and I will make sure to have my little one drop by. :) I am not really sure how to officially sign up for the FE so I figure I will just leave random gifts. Happy cruising :wave2:

So it looks like you are traveling the furthest so far...anyone further?

What about closest? I know there are some from Tampa area. I'm from south Sarasota area - about 3-1/2 hour drive from Miami.
