Magic mornings

If I stay at the Disneyland hotel do I receive a magic morning everyday. It is not clear to me how magic mornings work. I plan on purchasing a 5 day park hopper. Any help would be appreciated.

Magic morning occurs at Disneyland...typically Tue, Thurs and Sat. You get one day with most 3+ day tickets.
Extra Magic Hour (EMH) occurs at both parks everyday for onsite guests. Disneyland's EMH is the same time as the MM. DCA has theirs on Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri.

Right so as DLH guest you get EMH everyday (either in Dland OR DCA)- they only offer it at one park per day:
Dland: Tues, Thur, Sat
DCA: Mon, Wed, Fr, Sun

thanks for the information...makes sense. last time I went I stayed at a good neighbor hotel so I only got one magic morning. I would like to experience one of the Disney hotels this time.

This is exactly right and I find people get confused with the weird verbage of Early Morning Hour and Magic Morning.

You get Early Morning Hour because you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel.

You would get one (1) Magic Morning - which is good ONLY at Disneyland if you were staying off-site with a 3 Day or More ticket.

So if you decide NOT to stay at Disneyland Hotel and buy your 5 Day Pass - you can choose only ONE (1) of these days --Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday-- to go to Disneyland Park only, an hour early.

But since you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel, you can go an hour early into the parks ALL 5 days of your ticket. The schedule is currently:

• Disneyland Park: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
• Disney California Adventure Park (including access to Cars Land): Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

Make sure you have a key card for everyone in your room. We didn't add my DD once when she was 3yrs old and went to EMH and they actually made us go back and register her in order to let her in. If we're traveling as a larger family we add my parent's names to my room also so they can take my DD and her cousin into the parks early if we decide not to go (I've been known to book Mandara Spa treatments pre-park )

Fantasyland and Tomorrowland are open normally for MM. That I recall, all of the rides there are available. Not certain about EMH.
