Is it still " less crowded" to use MM on march 18, or will print break counteract that emptiness? Are the FL rides still accomplish able in 2 hours?
We have 4 days in DL but only 1 mm

Thanks I understand that's it's only 1 hour... But I've allotted 2... I've never been there and I know spring break is busy, wondering if MM is really busy also.

Hmm. Let me see if I can put you at ease.

MM is less busy than the rest of the day. That is true all year long. Sure, MM might be more busy during Spring Break than during the off-season, but it is still well worth your time to take advantage of it.

I still think you should be able to fit in your Fantasyland list in two hours, but if it goes a bit longer, you have four days at Disneyland, which is great! I know we tend to get really specific on these boards and that we can probably intimidate those people that have never been before, but I have full confidence that you're going to be able to do all you want to do :)

Awe thanks! I know my 2 girls ( almost 3 and 5.5) will be full force on day 1.
All I really planned for the day was MM with FL, PFF, toon town nap and parade with plaza inn dinner. Oh and Indy for daddy.... I don't want to cram too much in and I want to be reasonable with lines.

Not only are Magic Mornings always less crowded, but I'm not sure that the Magic Mornings during a busy period are any more crowded than the Magic Mornings in an off period.

Magic Mornings during busier periods can start as early as 7 AM. A lot of people don't want to get up at 6 AM to make a 7 AM Magic Morning on their vacation. Plus, many Magic Morning guests are those staying in Disney hotels. Those hotels are fairly near capacity year round, so the base number of people with Magic Mornings available doesn't change as much as you might think. I wouldn't be surprised if a 9 AM Magic Morning in the off-season was busier than a 7 AM Magic Morning in a busy season. (In fact, we did a Sunday 7 AM Magic Morning on one of the busiest days of the summer in 2009 and it was just fine.) The key is to be there before Magic Morning opens so you can hit Peter Pan first (and Dumbo quickly, if applicable) and I'd hit Alice early.

These are from the aforementioned June 2009 Magic Morning on an otherwise fairly busy Sunday. I think they may be a bit busier now, but not sure.

Have a great trip!

My DS in almost 18 and this will be his first trip (and ours!).

Besides SpaceM, I'm sure we want to see Pinocchio, Mr. Toad, Alice (is the drop in this like Pirates?) and Nemo since they are unique to DL.

Can you tell me a good order to see these on the MM Tuesday?

There is no drop in Alice. If you are ONLY interested in these rides during MM, I would do:
-Alice
-Mr. Toad
-Pinocchio (by this time it should be only about 20 min into your MM)
-Space
-Nemo (by the time you get off Nemo at this point, your MM hour will be up and you can start getting FP)

Thanks, DLR29! :thumbsup2
I think the only reason we would want to wake up early enough for MM is to see attractions we don't get to see in WDW since we are not traveling with young children. We don't do too many things in FL - my favorite is Mickey's Philharmagic - which is not in DL, correct? Space Mountain is one of DS and DH's favorites and I understand that it is slightly different in DL.

I don't see Small World on the list of MM attractions. My guys refuse to go in WDW anymore with me, but I definitely plan to make them see the one in DL :rotfl:

I would follow DLR29's order. But I'd personally go in through the castle and IF there's little or no line for Peter Pan Flight, go ahead and ride it. That will pretty much be your only opportunity to ride it without very long lines.

Snow White is different from WDW...WDW's is actually a lot better (though the ending of Disneyland's me laugh!) but DL's is not going away any time soon.... Worst case, Pinocchio and Snow White can probably be accomplished in the evening with a short wait.

Space Mountain is almost COMPLETELY different in DL! Get ready to get a FP for it too; I'm pretty sure your family will want one. :) No, we don't have Philharmagic.

Small World HOLIDAY (the Christmas version) is open for Magic Morning, I believe, but not the regular one. The lines for the regular one are usually shorter than for the holiday one, though.

There are 2 Small Worlds? Why is the Christmas version still shown?

Sorry--the Christmas version is a holiday overlay they put over the regular ride from mid-November through mid-January (give or take). Won't be in effect during your trip!
